I love holidays and parties. I love making gifts for people, especially the kids. Most of us will be celebrating July fourth with cookouts, lake time, fireworks, and family fun. Here are few things you can do to make it an even more exciting day.
#1. Makes a basket for all the kids coming to your party.
Items needed: 1. Sand buckets (find at your local Dollar Tree) in red and blue. 2. Bubbles (red and blue containers) 3. Mini American Flags (Dollar Tree) 4. Holiday headbands (Dollar Tree)
Put items in the buckets and paint their name right on the bucket in WHITE paint.
#2. Make a shirt.
Items Needed: 1. Red Paint 2. Blue Paint 3. Shirt (your size)
Dip your palm into the BLUE paint and place your hand palm side down on the top right side of the shirt. Then paint red stripes. Make an American Flag T-Shirt.
#3. Star-Spangled Yard
Items Needed: 1. Poster Board with HUGE star cut out of it. 2. White spray paint.
Place the stencil on your grass and spray away. (It will go away after you cut the grass.)
#4. Ammo Station
Items Needed: 1. Water Guns 2. Large Bucket full of ammo (or water)
Fill the bucket with water and everyone has an easy place to reload their weapons.
And keep those babies hands safe when using sparklers. Take a solo cup and cut a hole in the bottom. Place the sparkler in the whole (with the stem of the sparkler inside the cup.) Child can stick his hand in the cup to hold sparkler and he doesn't get burned. You're welcome!
